The mythical napkin

The other day, during lunch, I was scribbling a few thoughts and ideas on a napkin. That got me some smiles and ironic comments on “the mythical napkin”. Somebody even asked if I wanted to borrow a sheet of paper.

But heck, no! The reason why I didn’t want to switch to paper was the real value of the napkin: The constraints it puts on the user. You have a very small patch to write down your thoughts or to illustrate that idea to your colleague.

You can expand by unfolding, but the essence lies on one small, 15x15cm sheet. Priceless.

Urgent security update

support:

Bad news: A major vulnerability has been disclosed for the technology that powers encryption across the majority of the internet. That includes Tumblr. Our team took immediate action to fix the issue, but you should still take some time to change your password, not only here but on any other sites you visit.

You should also strongly consider enabling two-factor authentication. It’ll go a long way to ensure that no one besides you can access your account. Thanks, and take care.
