Currently, I’m constantly stumbling upon new blogs, mainly on the subject of Innovation and the like. On Jack Vinson’s I found this post about catching a childhood dream. Obviously, this made me think about my childhood dreams. There were quite a few, I guess, but the ones that stick in my head are the following:

  • Airline Pilot
  • Electronics
  • Inventor

However, when I was like 7 to 9 years old, I had one predominant childhood dream:

Today, I’m not the captain of a really big ship, but in some way, this dream still remains in my heart — I love the sea and one of my favourite quotes is the following one:

If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.
