TrackMeNot is a Firefox extension that tries not to minimize your exposure to online data collection in search engines but instead creates so much noise that your actual searches remain unfound.

The screenshot below shows what I searched for in the last 4 minutes according to the Google Search Protocol. Not perfect yet – I do searches in german, for example – but a good start. :){width=“465” height=“374”}
