[Daniel Wilson][] had an article some time ago that presented some mock-ups for better [UI notifications][] under Mac OS X that actually made sense. Via [codepoetry][], I found [LanOSD][], a tool that lets you create bezels as imagined by Daniel. The only thing that’s lacking now, is some kind of feedback link—and the possibility to attach some actions to the “buttons” and such.
